The largest street fair in the Nong Khai Calander, the Anou Savari Festival is held to celebrate the defeat of the Hau Rebellion in 1886. It lasts for about 10 days in early March each year and features, live music, competitions, games, performances, stalls selling a broad range of goods and, as is usual, delicious food and drink feature heavily.
